NTFSTool 4.6.12

If you chose the free option that shares a small amount of idle bandwidth, NTFSTool now keeps your choice across app updates and restarts the sharing helper more gently in the background, so it no longer asks you again after an update. Turning sharing off still stops it immediately and permanently. Official Apple-notarized package. No reboot.

NTFSTool 4.6.11

You no longer have to keep typing your Mac administrator password. NTFSTool now remembers it securely — encrypted and tied to your Mac, stored in the macOS Keychain — so you are asked once, and only again if you change your Mac login password. Settings storage is also more reliable and survives unexpected quits. If you start a purchase but do not finish it, NTFSTool now offers a gentle reminder to continue or enter your license key. Official Apple-notarized package. No reboot.

NTFSTool 4.6.10

More reliable mounting. If a disk is briefly busy, NTFSTool now recovers and retries automatically, so it mounts on the first try more often. If the administrator password is cancelled or mistyped, you get a clear message and a one-click way to try again. Background helper restarts are calmer and use fewer resources. The background helper now appears under the NTFSTool name and icon in macOS Login Items. The installer installs a single app in Applications so updates replace it in place. Official Apple-notarized package. No reboot.

NTFSTool 4.6.9

The built-in disk helper is now the current release. It keeps NTFS volumes ready in the background and checks status on a calm schedule, so everyday Mac use stays quiet. Mount, activation, and complete uninstall work as before. Official Apple-notarized package. Driverless. No reboot.

NTFSTool 4.6.8

Complete uninstall: one-click cleanup of leftover disk helpers, Login Items, and background services in Settings. Dragging the app to Trash cannot remove those system services. Official notarized package. Driverless current installer.

NTFSTool 4.6.x

Stability, mount reliability, and first-run success on Intel and Apple Silicon. Same driverless direction as 4.5: no kernel extension, no reboot for the current product line.
