Install in three steps

  1. Open the downloaded DMG.
  2. Drag NTFS2exFAT into your Applications folder.
  3. Open it, connect your NTFS drive and follow the wizard.

Requirements

  • macOS 13 or later
  • An external NTFS drive to convert
  • Free space for a full backup, on another drive or on your Mac
  • About 4 MB of disk space for the app

Opening the app

The app is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it normally. If you are ever warned, make sure you downloaded it from this site or from the official GitHub release.

Checksums (SHA-256)

Verify your download in Terminal with shasum -a 256 NTFS2exFAT.dmg.

Privacy

No file data leaves your Mac. Anonymous usage counts (for example that a conversion finished) can be switched off in Settings. They never include file names, paths or drive names.

Uninstall

Quit the app and drag NTFS2exFAT from Applications to the Trash. Settings are stored in your user Library and can be deleted too.
